The enhanced features designed into the SP50 make it one of the most versatile 2-way radios in the marketplace . . . without being cost prohibitive. Built to Motorola's demanding standards, the SP50 can easily stand up to the most rigorous construction or industrial applications.
The SP50 was available in both a Standard and Compact model to custom fit your communication needs.
Motorola SP50 Features
- Fully Synthesized Operation – We can add or modify the
radio frequencies and features using an IBM Personal Computer.
- Channel Scan - All channels in the radio can be simultaneously
monitored at the press of the option button.
- Multiple PrivateLine (PL)/Digital Private Line (DPL) - A unique
PL or DPL 'interference eliminator' code can be programmed for
each channel that eliminates hearing unwanted conversations.
- Meets Limited Mil Spec 810 C, D & E Approvals - The SP50
radio has been designed and tested to meet the U.S. military standards
approval for Shock, Vibration, Rain & Dust, ensuring it's
ability to perform in rigorous work environments.
- Add-On Signalling Capability (RadiusPort) - This feature allows the user to add new capabilities to already existing radios. A Quik Call IITM 'paging' module that alerts a user to incoming voice selective call messages or a SmarTrunk II module for adding trunking operation are currently available for this radio.
